Terms and Conditions

I. Definitions

A. IIFTC (India International Film Tourism Conclave)
India International Film Tourism Conclave aka IIFTC (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Brand’) is India’s largest film tourism initiative promoted by Mercury Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd. Since its inception in 2013, IIFTC has worked with a single minded objective to bring the global film locations to the Indian film industry. IIFTC has proved itself to be an undisputed leader in its space by hosting over 25 international events in India with participation from over 55 countries.

B. IIFTC Conclave
IIFTC Conclave (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Event’) is our flagship award winning annual Locations Show in Mumbai in the heart of Bollywood. IIFTC Conclave presents a credible B2B platform for film commissions, tourism offices and production service companies to meet and network with India’s vast multi-lingual film industry

C. IIFTC Connect
IIFTC Connect (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Website’) is an International Market Place for Meeting Indian productions. IIFTC Connect is a 24x7 Online Market Place to promote shooting locations and related services through multitude of advertising and promotional opportunities and connect with global locations facilitators and service providers

D. CinePort Magazine
CinePort (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Magazine’) is India’s first and foremost film location guide. It is circulated to over 1000 leading film production houses, TV and OTT content producers and leaders of India’s thriving M&E Industry. CinePort presents Indian content producers’ multitude of options and information about new and exciting shooting locations around the world.

E. Intellectual Property / Ownership

  • Copyright: India International Film Tourism Conclave, IIFTC, CinePort are registered trademarks of Mercury Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd.
  • Corporate/ Legal Entity: Mercury Integrated Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956), Corporate Identity Number: U74990MH2011PTC218467.
  • Mercury Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd. hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’, ‘the Organiser(s)’ of IIFTC Conclave (the event), ‘the Management’ or ‘the Admin’ of IIFTC Connect / www.iiftc.com (the Website) and ‘the Publisher’ of CinePort (the Magazine).

F. Buyers and Sellers
Buyers and Sellers are individuals and companies (collectively hereinafter referred to as ‘the Users’) are the user of the above-mentioned event, website and magazine (collectively hereinafter referred to as ‘the Trade/ Media Platforms’) in various capacities as defined below.

Hereinafter referred to as Buyers, Industry Invitee (INI), Industry Delegate (FID), Industry Member (INM) Hereinafter referred to as Sellers, Exhibitors (EXB), Business Delegate (IBD), Advertiser, Global Network Partner (GNP)

G. Subscribers
‘The Subscribers’ constitutes individuals and companies who form a part of our database of buyers or sellers and are recipients of any business or promotional communication/ material via email or post from the company, the organisers of the event, the management of the website and the publishers of the magazine etc.

H. Users
‘The Users’ constitute all individuals and company representatives using the trade/ media platforms in various capacities including but not limited to as, ‘Buyers’, ‘Sellers’, ‘Attendees’ and ‘Visitors’ to the event, ‘Visitors’ to the website, ‘Readers’ of the magazine and all ‘Subscribers’

II. IIFTC Conclave

A. How to attend IIFTC Conclave?
An individual or a company representative can attend IIFTC Conclave as a Registered Delegate (RD) if he / she belongs to either of the below mentioned categories.

  • Exhibitors (EXB): Exhibitors are sellers who put up a stall / booth at the event to promote the shooting location and related services to the buyers.
  • Business Delegate (IBD): Business Delegates are paid delegates (individual or company representatives) attending the event as sellers to meet and network with the buyers.
  • Industry Invitee (INI): Industry Invitees are important members of the Indian film industry and/or potential buyers who are extended a complimentary invitation by the organisers.
  • Industry Delegate (FID): Industry Delegates are paid delegates (individual or company representatives) attending the event as buyers to meet and network with the sellers.
  • Special Invitee (SPI): This is by Invitation only category, where complimentary invitation is extended by the organisers at their discretion

B. Rules & Regulations
1. admission

  • Only for Registered Delegates as defined in either of the above categories i.e. Exhibitor, Business Delegate, Industry Invitee, Industry Delegate and Special Invitee.
  • For Paid Delegate (Business Delegate / Industry Delegate) as per the eligibility criteria as defined on the conclave page on the website: www.iiftc.com
  • Not for children below the age of 18 years and infants in arms.
  • Not for companions/ family members of the Registered Delegates.
  • The rights of admission are reserved with the organisers.
  • The decision of the organisers on the eligibility and admission of the registered delegates, attendees and visitors is final.

3. Payment Terms:

4. Accreditation & Access: :

5. Non-solicitation & anti-suitcasing policy:

  • In order to protect our valued exhibitors and their investments, our rules strictly prohibit solicitation of business or suitcasing by attendees/ visitors. Suitcasing refers to unethical parasitic business practices in which, non-exhibitors gain access to trade show attendees/ visitors and/or exhibitors and solicit business.
  • Non-exhibitor attendees/ visitors are not allowed to solicit customers or business and/or distribute any promotional material, brochures, flyers etc. at the event.
  • Any non-exhibitor attendees/ visitors, who is observed to be not adhering to non-solicitation & anti-suitcasing policy will be asked to leave the event immediately and will no longer be welcome at future IIFTC events.
  • Applicable to all attendees/ visitors at the event except for Exhibitors and their official delegations (not including their consultants, representatives and/or associates) only.

6. Privacy and Security:

  • The organisers reserve the right to verify identity of any attendee/ visitor or frisk them for security reasons.
  • The organisers do not take responsibility for loss or theft of any personal belongings of the attendees/ visitors
  • The attendees/ visitors have to strictly adhere to the rules & regulations and security guidelines as set by the organisers and the venue of the event.
  • The attendees/ visitors are expected to maintain decorum of the event at all times
  • The organisers hold the right to ask any attendee/ visitor to vacate the venue without assigning any reason, for any misconduct or inappropriate behaviour.
  • The organisers have right to use the registration information of all attendees/ visitors.
  • The organisers have absolute rights over all photographic, audio and video recording of the event including but not limited to event set-up, event proceedings and people attending or visiting the event.

7. Cancellation:

  • Dates, Venue, Event Agenda and Schedule of the event are subject to change or cancellation at the organiser’s discretion.
  • Refund of Delegate Fee: In case of arbitrary cancelation of the event by the organisers, 100% of the delegate fee will be refunded.
  • Refund of Exhibitor Fee: Please refer to the Confirmation Letter
  • Force Majeure: The organisers are not liable for any refund; in case the event is cancelled due to any force majeure conditions such as act of god or any circumstances beyond control of the organisers.
  • In case of any change of plan or cancellation of the event, the organisers are not liable to pay any other expenses or damages other that the refund of the fee as applicable.

8. Accommodation:
Available to Exhibitors and International Business Delegates at special rates at the event venue or designated hotels. Please write to iiftc@mercuryintegrated.com for any information/ assistance regarding accommodation

III. IIFTC Connect

A. How to become IIFTC Connect Member?

There are 2 types of memberships of the website broadly categorised as Buyers (Industry Members) or Sellers (Network Partners) depending on the purpose of the membership.

B. Industry Member (INM):

1. Definition

An Industry Member is a buyer who is a creative professional from the Indian Film and Entertainment Industry, with special interest in foreign shoots and/or is looking for shooting locations and related services.

2. How to become an Industry Member?

  • By paying membership fee.
  • By attending IIFTC Conclave as Business Delegate
  • By Invitation from the management

3. Eligibility Criteria

  • For Buyers (Individuals or company representatives) as defined.
  • For active members of the Indian film, media and entertainment industry with established credentials and/or track record of shooting abroad.
  • Not for any travel trade companies/ representatives or persons not related to the Indian film, media and entertainment industry.
  • Not for person below the age of 18 years.
  • The decision of the management on the eligibility for the membership is final.

4. Entitlements/ Benefits for Industry Member:

  • Members Login & Special Privileges (as follows)
  • Subscription of IIFTC Connect.
  • Invitation to IIFTC Conclave.
  • Subscription of CinePort magazine
  • Access to proprietary database of Indian Films Shot Abroad.
  • Access to Global Network Partners Directory.
  • Receive information and special offers from IIFTC’s Global Network Partners.
  • Send Business Enquiries to IIFTC’s Global Network Partners.

C. Global Network Partner (GNP)
1. Definition
A Global Network Partner is a seller from domestic or international film or travel & tourism sector who is looking to promote shooting locations and related services to India’s thriving film, media and entertainment industry.

2. How to become a Global Network Partner?

  • By paying membership fee.
  • By attending IIFTC Conclave as Exhibitor or Business Delegate
  • By buying any of our products or services on the website: www.iiftc.com
  • By Invitation from the Management

3. Eligibility Criteria

  • For Sellers (Companies) as defined. A company can nominate 3 individuals including one primary member and 2 associate members.
  • Not for any companies not related to or with no business interest in the Indian film, media and entertainment industry.
  • Not for person below the age of 18 years.
  • The decision of the management on the eligibility for the membership is final.

4. Entitlements/ Benefits for Global Network Partner:

  • Members Login & Special Privileges (as follows).
  • Subscription of IIFTC Connect
  • Special Discounted rates to attend IIFTC Conclave
  • Access to proprietary database of Indian Films Shot Abroad
  • Listings in Global Network Partners Directory.
  • Receive Business Enquiries from IIFTC Connect – Industry Members
  • List Rental facility: Mailout sent to IIFTC Connect subscribers from the Indian film, media and entertainment industry (minimum 2000 email ids)
  • Buyers Connect facility: Personalised Communication with IIFTC Connect – Industry Members (minimum 400 names.)
  • Special Discounts on select Print / Online Advertising / Promotional Products .

D. Rules & Regulations

1. Membership

  • Membership will be accorded to Buyers (Industry Members) and Sellers (Global Network Partners) as defined as per above mentioned eligibility criteria.
  • For paid members, in case of non-eligibility or non-acceptance of the membership, the membership fee paid will be returned in full amount .
  • The management has the right to accept or deny membership at its discretion without assigning any reason.
  • The decision of the management on the eligibility for the membership is final.

2. Membership Fee

  • Membership Fee is non-transferable and non-refundable once the membership is accepted by the management.
  • Membership is valid for a period of one year from the date of joining or assigning of membership letter.
  • Membership can be renewed subject to payment and management approvals
  • The management has the right to extend or renew the membership at its discretion

  • All the terms and conditions in this document are applicable and binding to all the members of IIFTC Connect
  • The management has the right to use the registration information collected on the website and via membership form
  • The above information will be used strictly for business communication purpose by IIFTC Connect management and its Global Network Partners.
  • Any misuse of the information should be immediately notified to the management of the website on: membersconnect@iiftc.com
  • As a member you are entitled to receive updates, notifications and promotions on your registered email id. A member has an option to opt out of or unsubscribe from such business communications.
  • A member has an option to update/ edit his/ her profile information
  • There will be occasional updates in our terms & conditions, hence we encourage all members to periodically review this document.
  • IIFTC Connect members’ continuation to use this website constitutes to his/ her agreement/ acceptance of all our terms & conditions

6. User Guidelines:

  • Members are required to strictly adhere to the terms and conditions of this document
  • Members are required to maintain decorum during their interactions with other members and the management x
  • Members are not allowed to misrepresent facts, be deceitful or use abusive, disrespectful or inappropriate language or words in any form of communication on the website or with the other members of IIFTC Connect including but not limited to members’ profile page, email communication, any promotional material including display ads, promotional emailer etc.

7. Cancellation:

  • In case of any misconduct, abuse, breach of user guidelines or wrongful usage of other IIFTC Connect member’s information, the membership will be cancelled with immediate effect with no refund of the membership fee (if applicable).
  • The management holds absolute right to cancel membership of any member without assigning any reason
  • A member has an option to cancel his/ her membership at any point without assigning any reason by sending an email to: membersconnect@iiftc.com. Membership will be cancelled within 7 days upon receipt of such email.
  • Cancellation of the membership will result in termination of all entitlements/ privileges/ services associated with the membership.
  • A member is not entitled to any refund of the membership fee (if applicable) upon cancellation by self.

IV. Disclaimers

A. As the management of IIFTC Connect (the website) and the publishers of CinePort (the magazine) we try to ensure that the information and material on the website and the magazine is accurate and complete. However, as much of this information is user generated and/or provided by our advertisers, exhibitors, network partners or members or compiled by us for the benefit of the users using various secondary sources of information and internet, we do not take absolute guarantee for the accuracy and authenticity of any information and material available on the above media platforms and we do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the information on the website and the magazine

B. All advertising and creative material including but not limited to creative artworks, location pictures, movie stills, promotional pictures etc. used in display ads and promotional emailers on the website and editorial articles and print ads in the magazine is provided by our advertisers, exhibitors, network partners. We do not hold any responsibility or accountability of acquiring rights for usage of any such creative material from the rightful owner of these creative materials.

C. We do not accept any liability arising from breach of rights or wrongful usage of any creative materials on the website and the magazine. In any such case, kindly notify the management and the publishers on admin@iiftc.com for necessary action.

D. On the website users may be offered automatic links to other websites, pictures, videos of our advertisers, exhibitors, network partners or members. The website does not accept any responsibility for the contents of any such links or third-party websites.

E. The information supplied in the member’s profile page on this website is the exclusive responsibility of the member. The website is not responsible for any factually incorrect or deceitful information in any user generated/ editable sections of the website.

F. All the content of the website (including databases, images, drawings, graphs, text files, audio files, video files, and software) and in general any created intellectual property that exists in the website and the magazine, are property of Mercury Integrated Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. or is published with permission from rights holders and are protected by current intellectual and industrial property laws.

G. The trademarks, special designs, distinctive signs or logos that appear in the website and the magazine are owned by Mercury Integrated Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. Content published cannot be modified, copied, altered, reproduced, adapted, or translated by the user or third parties without the express authorization of the company. The non-authorized use of the information contained in the website, the magazine and/or any breach of intellectual or industrial property will bring the legally established consequences to bare.

H. The management informs the user that the use of the website could require the use of ‘on-line forms’ in order to offer an adequate service. At the time the users are giving details about themselves they are also allowing those personal details to form a part of our databases, which are under our responsibility.

I. The terms and conditions of use of the website are of an indefinite character. The company reserves the right to modify or add to these terms and conditions without previous notice.

J. All our media platforms including IIFTC Connect and CinePort is strictly to be used for business and promotional purpose only. Any comments or communication made, which is offensive in nature and with hatred towards a particular race, religion, gender, nationality or sexuality or other personal characteristic is not accepted. The management and the publishers hold the right to issue a show cause notice and/or bring the legally established consequences to bare to any person(s) or organisation making such comments or communication.

K. The company reserves the right, but does not have an obligation, to monitor and/or review all User Information and Submitted Materials on its trade/ media platforms. The organisers, the management and the publishers are not responsible for any such Submitted Materials, however, reserves the right at all times to edit, refuse to place or to remove any Submitted Materials, in whole or in part, that they consider to be, in their sole discretion, objectionable or in violation of these terms & conditions or applicable law.

L. IIFTC Connect member’s interactions with the other users/ members of the website are solely between each other. The management will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any such interactions between the website members or is under no obligation to become involved if there is a dispute between its members as a result of their interactions with each other.

M. All IIFTC Connect members hereby release and forever discharge Mercury Integrated Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. (and its directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns) from, and herby waive and relinquish, each and every past, present and future dispute, claim, controversy, demand, right, obligation, liability, action and cause of action of every kind and nature (including personal injuries, death and property damage), that has arisen or arises directly or indirectly out of, or relates directly or indirectly to, any interactions with, or act of omission of, other members of IIFTC Connect.

N. The website may, directly or through our third-party vendors, make certain products or services available to users and/ or members of the website. Users agree to pay in full the prices for any purchases they make either by credit/ debit card concurrent with their online order or by other payment means acceptable to the company or its vendors. Users also agree to pay all applicable taxes. If payment is not received by the company or its vendors from user’s credit/ debit card issuer or its agents, user agrees to pay all amounts due upon demand by the company or its vendors. Certain products or services that the user purchases and/or downloads on or through the website may be subject to additional terms and conditions presented to the user at the time of such purchase or download.

O. The management and the publishers may run advertisements and promotions from third parties on the website and in the magazine. Users business dealings or correspondence with these advertisers or third parties and any terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between the user and such third party. The company is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of third-party advertisers on the website and the magazine.

Grievance Redressal: Any and all Grievances must be submitted in writing by the users or the aggrieved party on the following email id: admin@iiftc.com. Within Thirty (30) days following the submission of the written grievance, the Admin shall respond in writing. If no written response is received within Thirty (30) days, the Grievance shall be deemed denied
